The Scenic Hills Christian Academy mission is to provide a Christian education in a safe and spiritual atmosphere that promotes academic excellence and personal growth, by equipping each student spiritually, academically, physically, and socially to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.

Learning

Our school is committed to a Christ first learning environment. We are focused on both spiritual and academic development of each student. Our academics emphasize reading and math in the elementary grades, college prep in high school, and STEM across all grade levels.

Arts & Music

Art and music are a key part of our curriculum. We believe in promoting the unique gifts of each student. That is why art and music are so important to us. We have regular art and music classes for kids or all ages.

Athletics

Scenic Hills is proud to offer optional athletics programs for Basketball and Volleyball through SOA. We have teams from 1st to 12th grade that play against local high schools, in local city leagues, and Texas Adventist tournaments.

As a non-profit Christian school, our mission is to provide excellence in educational and vibrant spiritual life. We want to engage in our community to meet their needs at an affordable price. We partner with our community small businesses to build strong relationship.

Campus

Our campus is located in the beautiful Military City, San Antonio, TX. We are easily accessible right off of 1604 and Bandera behind the Church. Our school building is only 6 years old and we are continuing to expand and grow our campus which features, modern technology driven classrooms and more.

The purpose of our school is to draw your children closer to Jesus while providing excellent education. Our spiritual development guides us as we focus on each child's spiritual growth. Partnering with our parents and community to provide a spiritual atmosphere and excellent education is the reason we exist.

The avenues to access a modern world will go through a digital platform. Technology and science are all around us and touch every aspect of academics and vocation. Our school uses digital platforms to engage in our core focuses which are STEM, reading and math. In an ever changing digital world, technology will only expand and we must help our students be ready for the jobs and world of tomorrow.

Student to Teacher Ratio

For each grade level, our school offers a low student to teacher ratio (approximately 12:1) which allows us to provide a family feel, small group learning, individualize instruction, lesson extensions, and intervention for those who need it.
